Reminder

Reminder, part of our commitment to the Order of Secular Discalced Carmelites, to the Carmelite friars and nuns and to the Church worldwide, we are to fast, even a mitigated fast according to our health or  circumstances, on the DAY BEFORE (aka the Vigil) the dates for the remainder of 2024.

• October 1, 2024. So fast on September 30, 2024.

• October 15, 2024. So fast on October 14, 2024.

• November 14, 2024. So fast on November 13, 2024.

• December 14, 2024. So fast on December 13, 2024

If a vigil falls on a Sunday, do not  fast.  See Book of Documents  (page 196).
